Accessibility statement

‹ English home

The Misericordia di Ariccia believes that information and services should be within everyone’s reach, including older people, people with disabilities and those with reading difficulties. We designed the site following the international WCAG 2.1, level AA guidelines.

Accessibility tools

On every page you’ll find the accessibility panel (♿ icon on the left side) and, at the top of the content, the reading bar. Together they let you:

  • listen to the page read aloud (Italian speech synthesis);
  • read the easy-Italian version;
  • enlarge the text and use a high-legibility font (helpful for dyslexia);
  • increase spacing, highlight links, use high contrast, inverted colours or greyscale;
  • turn on a reading guide, a large cursor and stop animations;
  • download the text in Braille.

Other choices

Keyboard navigation and a “skip to content” link; alt text on images; clear headings and good colour contrast; a layout that adapts to every screen; respect for reduced motion; and no cookies and no tracking.

Report a barrier

If you find a barrier or a page that is hard to use, tell us — we will act as soon as possible and, if needed, provide the information in an alternative format. Email: sede@misericordia-ariccia.it · Phone: +39 06 933 3717
