Sports competitions, village festivals, concerts, dance recitals, processions, public events: for many events a medical presence is required (and for all of them it is a good idea). The Misericordia di Ariccia provides cover with ambulances, trained rescuers and an AED (defibrillator), as we have done for years at events across the Castelli Romani.

What we offer
- Ambulance with a crew of qualified rescuers, present for the whole duration of the event
- Defibrillator (AED) and first aid equipment
- First aid post for events with large attendance
- Help in assessing the event’s medical cover needs (based on the type of event and number of participants)
Who it is for
Town councils, parishes, associations and sports clubs, schools, festival committees, private organisers. We operate in Ariccia and the Castelli Romani and, depending on availability, in the neighbouring areas.

Frequently asked questions
Is an ambulance compulsory for my event?
It depends on the type of event, the number of participants and what the town council and the local health authority (ASL) require to authorise it. Describe the event to us: we will help you assess the medical cover needed and decide on the most suitable arrangement.
How much does medical cover for an event cost?
It depends on the duration, the number of vehicles and rescuers needed and the location. We are a volunteer organisation: we ask for a contribution that covers the cost of the service. Fill in the form and we will send you a quote with no obligation.
How far in advance should I request the service?
Ideally a few weeks before, especially for summer weekends and patron saint festivals, when there are many requests.
Do you also cover events outside the Castelli Romani?
We operate in Ariccia and the Castelli Romani and, depending on our volunteers’ availability, in the neighbouring areas. Feel free to ask.
