The confratelli and consorelle (brothers and sisters) are the heart of the Misericordia: women and men who give their time and skills for charity and Christian fraternity, through the spiritual and corporal Works of Mercy.
According to the Statute, members have equal rights and duties: they take part in assemblies, vote and elect the officers. You become a member with a written application, on which the Magistrato (governing board) decides. Volunteering is personal, spontaneous and free of charge, and every volunteer is insured against accidents and civil liability.
